I then switched to a $100 deductible for comprehensive because of how long it would take for the difference in premium to add up to $150, and the likelihood that I'd need a windshield before that happened. I used to have a $250 deductible for comprehensive because if I looked at the difference in cost between that and the $1000 deductible, it wasn't enough savings to warrant it.
